Good article. Barnes seems like an intriguing player. I like this quote from him: "Anytime you want to get into religious or political views, that can instantly polarize people.”
There are some who want athletes/celebs/famous people to speak out and be more of an activist; however, as much as we don't want to admit it sometimes, these people can be of significant influence in swaying public opinion and ideas. This wouldn't be much of a problem if the majority of the public were intelligent, independent thinking individuals instead of morons and sheep.
