Got to capitalize on the overblown scandal...you know, not much else you can talk shit about when you're 1-4 vs. OSU and just lost to the worst OSU team in decades.
It's funny. When Ohio State lost Pryor, Tress, and was going through all of the bs, MSU, Meatchiken, and wisconsin had no problem snatching up kids that were going/did commit to Ohio State. The minute they lose them, they cry foul.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
You are 110% correct my friend. I think they just want to whine...piss...and moan!! They know that the "Storm" is coming with a vengeance, and they aren't going to be able to stop it...\m/ \m/ OH....

What's funny is that Wisky always gets the recruits we don't go after. Rarely do we ever compete for the same recruit, because Wisky can't. I love how scared the entire conference is. FTW!!
Urban is rapidly becoming Enemy #1 with the conference coaches. Have MSU staff aggravated, Wisky staff saying stupid crap & undoubtedly PSU ppl fuming. Beat the hell out of Hokey Pokey this year recruiting and in November ... we'll pretty much have everything wrapped up with the hate!

He fails to mention that a ton of his assistants, who actually did the recruiting, left his program. Those assistants couldn't get away from that dickbag fast enough.
so what im getting out of this is bret bielama is upset that a 17-18 year old kid followed his true hearts desire to be a buckeye? this supposed gentlemans agreemend is pure horsehit, its basically saying that youre not gonna let a 18 year old kid make his own decisions for himself and play where he WANTS to play. dodson obviously likes the buckeye state more than the cheese state, but to bret bielema that is illegal
So what exactly is he alleging? First of all, verbal commitments are not binding - by the athlete or the school. To make them appear as such is a violation of NCAA regs. So who here is close to NCAA violations? Should the NCAA not allow recruits to switch once a verbal commitment has been executed would negate the requirement for a national signing day.
I guess we are getting a glimpse of why the ex-OSU employee referred to Bielema as a pompous ass. Because he is one!!!!!
i like the fact that once a kid commits their is an agreement in the big ten move on a get the next kid but all meyer did was biscally call the kids that were already on ohio states radar and ask "hey i am the new coach you interested at all?" not a big deal and should be expected from any new coach in the conference its not like we picked out some slow ass corner prospect from appleton wisc that was never on osu's radar and recruit him away from the fat badger coach
These coaches are making the B1G look like a bunch of clowns. Michigan State and Wisconsin have been the 2 best programs the last 2 years in the conference and this is the kind of BS they are pulling? My God no wonder the conference is freaking horrible. I have a feeling Urban is going to put a freaking choke hold on this conference for as many years as he wants to stay a coach. Things are going to get ugly for the rest of the conference. They need to shut up and find ways to improve their on the field product.
I don't blame Michigan for taking Kalis, hell it was a great move on Hoke's part. I don't really care where a kid wanted to go all their life or where the kid was from. If a coach can woo them to the good guys in the last hours before signing day, then that's just how it goes. I love the cut throat recruiting. If the rest of the conference would grow a pair maybe the on the field product would actually improve.
Wasn't TCU number 3 and the game was close? Anyway, Back to back rose bowls is greater than Sugar bowl and Gator bowl. My point was the last 2 years COMBINED MSU and Wisconsin were the 2 best teams in the B1G overall.
I saw on Twitter that Hokey Pokey apparently agreed with Urban that kids with verbal commitments are fair game. I guess he was at least smart enough to realize he got Kalis. I guess MSU has conveniently forgotten they were going after Dodson too...
What I don't really understand is - why go public with this trash? If you have a problem/concern/bitch - take it up privately with your AD, Coach Meyer, BIG administration, etc. But why the butthurt world tour? All that does is open you and your program up for ridicule. Now every SEC blog has their "another reason why we are winning" material. And ESPN has their "why the SEC is the best in the land" scoop of the week. Just sounds like a bunch of sour grapes and a way for BB to rationalize away a disappointing recruiting class.
Also - anyone see this being a problem for 2013 since Coach Meyer will have a full year to recruit those he wants before they commit elsewhere?
Comments
Apparently he doesn't want to win National Championships or having great recruiting classes. Why would anyone go play for this assclown? #MoreButtHurt

^This. Double standards are the worst. I just want to walk up to these coaches and be like...
Class of 2008
Meyer is going to not let up on Wisky. You can bet there will be a "because I couldn't go for three" moment or two. Or more.
What's funny is that Wisky always gets the recruits we don't go after. Rarely do we ever compete for the same recruit, because Wisky can't. I love how scared the entire conference is. FTW!!

If you can't take the heat. You better quit.GO BUCKS!
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

Nice.
epic post is epic.
What a motherf*cker.
Indeed.
What a moron.
I love to hate Wisconsin.
He is making excuses in advance to cover his ass. So he can revert back to this after losses to OSU. Gotta give him credit for thinking ahead.
He fails to mention that a ton of his assistants, who actually did the recruiting, left his program. Those assistants couldn't get away from that dickbag fast enough.
Lmao @ dickbag
I'm sure he has the matching asshat
No doubt IISY!
And vag-badge.

Thank God Zook is gone. He'd probably be crying too.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Deal with it, Bielema.
Hopefully we're up 56-0 on Wisconsin, and on the final play, we throw a hail mary for a TD and then go for 2 because "we couldn't go for 9".

Yo, I know it was vacated/erased, but we still beat Arkansas 2 years ago while Wisconsin got dickslapped by TCU.
Best in the conference? Hardly.

He's done it. Bielema is actually dumber than Lane Kiffin.
Here's what I hear when Beilema talks about recruting:
"Man, this sucks. Urban bitch-slapped us with just two months of recruiting time. Not fair, there must be cheating. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."
