THANK YOU. They need an interm coach, freshman QB and our worst season in 100 yrs to win for the first time in 8 years. With said frosh QB over throwing the game winner. On their turf. They are screwed.

Alex- I received some information once from someone of questionable importance. I think it goes a little something like this:

Just try to ignore the stuff you don't like and your life will be measurably happier.

I think we should overlook these comments and just understand that these are just kids, and their opinions are only given from their personal point of view. It isn't worth getting worked up over and with this advice, I don't know what the point is to even respond to such things that upset us. No one but you can make you angry.

I don't always take names when I kick ass but when I do, they most often belong to a Wolverine.

The difference is our kids aren't saying these things. They jumped all over Boston and Glenn. At the time the skunk bears weren't running at the mouth. They were winning The Game. We are winning The Game now, and they need to talk themselves into thinking they can compete. How often have you had to run your mouth to make yourself feel like you were going to win? I don't know you, but I'm guessing not very often.

Damn this rivalry is fun.

The UM guy regularly on this site should take note of how the UM fans treated the OSU supporter in the comments section of the story. No matter if nice or not you are in any UM story comments or forum that's the norm. I know I've been there. And all you hear from UM is how classless OSU fans are. Have not an ounce of respect left for any of 'em.

For the most part, message boards attract that kind of crowd. We're actually pretty fortunate that 11W has such a better community than most sports sites.

Remember: Just because they speak the loudest doesn't mean they speak for everyone.

A) 11W is a significantly, demonstrably better atmosphere than most fan-boards. Of course, you have the BBC for all the riffraff. ;-0

B) I see at least some of the MGoBloggers thinking it is pretty icky for a "pre-freshman" to start trashtalking. MGoBlog has a gigantic membership. They get all kinds.

The one thing to say about Pipkins was that he was by all accounts a true beast in his AA game(s).

Have yet to see a Buckeye "run away", and don't expect to see it any time soon. Kid lives in KU-MU country so he understands rivalry, but he has no idea what he is talking about really.

I don't understand players running their mouth who haven't played a down a college football yet. These kids haven't done anything but take a dump up to this point. The sense of entitlement for some of these kids is absurd.

Being from Toledo, I live and work around many UM fans, and this idiot, combined with Kalis, is perfect for their fanbase. All mouth. Most don't even have sense to keep their mouths shut when they are losing 7 in a row to Ohio State.

Bo Shembechler would not allow them to spout off even as recruits that I can remember. They definitely didn't as players. If Hoke is half this football coach god (with +/- .500 lifetime record) as they claim he will put a stop to this. If not it shows that he is just what his record states. You will not see Urbans players do it, guaranteed.

If Pipkins is the belly of the beast, he must really smell like sh--. I mean, what's inside the belly of the beast? Digestive acids, partly digested gazelle meat that's been marinating there for like 3 years, an old shoe, hairy bubble gum, Craig James' missing FIVE HOOKERS, dog poop-stained leaves.

Maybe this explains why the other players "ran away from him" at the all-star game. It was, after all, only an exhibition game, so other players might not have been willing to endure the odors. When it's showtime, they'll plug their noses, and put the beast into hibernation.

Remember Shariff Floyd was such a stud and no one could handle him at the HS all-star games? We wanted him here but Urbz got him to Florida. He has never been a real star. Just another decent lineman. Its different when you go against guys your size every game. If we plant Pipsqueak in the ground sounds like a dickweed will sprout!

This guy came from a high school team that were a bunch of patty cakes. Record 5-5, scored 167 points and allowed 203, ranked 60th in the state of MO! Sounds like the "belly of the beast" was spending more time filling up the belly than playing defense.
