Listening to the radio feed right now on yahoo sports. Did bring up a great point. The NCAA has every ability to eliminate the 4 year limitation b/c of continuous violations & the same booster. So, technically they could go all the way back to '01 with Shapiro.
The read of this stuff is absolutely nuts. I'll give credit to Wetzel & Co claiming this as the 10/10.
So am guessing this is the "story" that was and is bigger than what happend at tOSU. But you know what this will never get the attention we got. It's actually sad!
My question is why couldn't this come out right after tOSU? I think it's all about riding the wave of news, it's down right pathetic.

Oh it absolutely will. It is easily the worst set of violations I've seen since SMU if able to be proven. Wetzel claims to have a huge papertrail/proof/corroborating evidence. No way possible this gets buried.
Seeing how much is detailed, plus the evidence they have, the Canes are in for a long, long road. Golden just walked into a massive cleanup job without knowing it. Some of the stuff that is talked about is just....creepy. Not a good day for college football.
But I still doubt ESPiN does 48 hour media coverage like they did on us....

I've got a friend who is a Da U superfan. He's constantly on me about the "mythical pass interference" that took Miami from prominence to the cellar. Throughout OSU's whole ordeal, I was getting it left and right.

He refuses to belive that any fouls occured before the MPI. Only the MPI and the lateness of Porter's flag are of any consequence. Not the failure to stop OSU on 4th and 14. Not the failure to punch it in from 5 yards out with 4 tries. No, that game was decided ONLY on the MPI.

I love how this dude is considered shady and ESPN is questioning his credibility, but "Ellis" the guy who can't spell 'fight' or 'win' is credible.
Maybe if SI or ESPN didn't spend so much time digging for nothing in Columbus they would've figured this one out.
This story is incredible. We all knew there were shenanigans going on in colllege football, but maybe not to this extent.....and of course, the coaches in question are now at Bama and Florida.
