To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
It's funny; there's an awful lot of bad blood between Desmond and some elements in the Michigan fan-base. I think that with some of the bad feelings, Desmond has earned them, with some really baseless comments about Rodriguez, some careless and stupid stuff on Twitter, and most recently some hurtful comments using the name of Denard Robinson. (Howard swears he intended no knock on Denard, and blamed others for misinterpreting him. Personally, I'm not ready to forgive Desmond.)
There are parallels there, with Desmond/Michigan, and Herbstreit/OSU.
For the record, I think Herbstreit is good at television commentary, and Desmond isn't.
Has Herbstreit gave his reason(s) for dropping tOSU 3 spots in his final poll after the SB win vs Ark? Has anyone asked him directly and rec'd a response? Has any voter dropped a team 3 spots after winning a BCS bowl?
That final vote coupled with his comment regarding tressel recruiting "that type of player" were the final straws for me. The guy is a bias tool. Oh and BTW... FU Desmond!
