I bet that was friggin' awesome. Anybody know of a video somewhere? Hell, it's probably only .10 seconds long.

You know, I've never quite understood the point of a flyover before a game.  Especially, when they have them in stadiums that have a fricken roof!

Here's a decent video:

I don't know about y'all, but anyone that can clear a scoreboard by 16 feet must be one hell of a pilot.

A hell of a pilot with huge testicular fortitude.  I want this dude protecting our freedoms.

Maverick or Goose. Has to be.

Hal Jordan of earth, you have shown the ability to overcome great fear....

Put those guys back in their planes where they belong.  Being in that stadium would have been tittaays to the max.  16 feet wow!

Go back and re-watch the video.  Stop the clip at 21 seconds, that looks more like 30-40 feet above the press box.  My son and I went to game this past season at tOSU when there was a flyover.  The planes cleared the East side of the shoe not much higher than that.  My season tickets are in 24C on that side of the stadium.  From their hieght I could see the rivets on the bottom of the aircraft.

Our planes fly over at 12 feet, we're Ohio State!

Irresponsible pilot meets inevitable wall.

The dope lost his retirement and his Honorable Discharge.... and Iowa still got drubbed.

If you think what he did was cool, move to Tripoli ..... it happens every four minutes.

I gotta agree with Cross on this one.  A pilot who chooses to do what's cool over what is safe is a liability.  "Pushing the edge of the envelope" has its place.  That place ain't less than a hundred feet from 100k civillians. <== Pilot and CFI.

I think what that pilot did was AWESOME!
