Anybody recall Dickie V's foul comments about Funderburke when he thought the mic was off? He was such a homer for IU and Bobby Knight.
I don't really take him all that serious. Maybe if the BBall Bucks put on a great show he'll start showing us some love. Heard him on Mike & Mike and he said NC and Duke was the greatest rivalry in sports period and referred to it as the "real game" for the week after very briefly touching on OSU vs Wisky. While it's fun to watch and the crowd is into it, it seems pales in comparison to others and I can see how some took it as an insult to tOSU vs Michigan. I probably won't watch Duke and NC but I'll be glued to OSU vs Wisconsin. He does some great things for charities and seems like an all around good guy. While I don't agree with a lot of what he says he's coined some NCAA basketball phrases that I find myself using. Diaper Dandy. Smoke 'em like a cheap cigar. Etc....
