UM Billboard Distracts Politicians

Trouble is brewing up north:

The Ann Arbor City Council has passed a resolution asking the University of Michigan to take down a $2.8 million digital billboard outside Michigan Stadium that some say distracts drivers.

The money quote:

"They show videos on the sign," Chuck Warpehoski told the newspaper. "That is, in my opinion, absolutely unacceptable and should stop."

Good to see that the sun never sets on Ann Arbor snobbery.

If only they would take away everything that was offensive in Ann Arbor the world would be a much better place

If they took away everything that was offensive in AA they'd have to do away with the whole town...

If the billboard is showing "highlights" from Michigan games I can see why it would be distracting.

Seriously. Why show videos of a train wreck where drivers can see them?
