Nike Football Training Camp Columbus is in the books and it was a big day for future Buckeyes.

Cleveland St. Ignatius linebacker Kyle Berger was named MVP in the linebacker group, while Detroit Cass Tech's Damon Webb took home MVP honors among defensive backs.

Berger and Webb were awarded "golden tickets" for Nike's prestigious The Opening camp, held later this summer in Oregon. Dylan Thompson, another future Buckeye, performed well enough on the defensive line to capture a golden ticket, as well.

Here's a full list of positional MVPs:

Pos Name School Hometown Verbal Leaders
QB Drew Barker Conner Hebron, KY Kentucky
RB Jalen Hurd Beech Hendersonville, TN Tennessee
WR Montae Nicholson Gateway Monroeville, PA Michigan, Penn State, Pitt

Offensive lineman Kyle Trout of Lancaster performed well, matching up with beast defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand and St. Vincent-St. Mary athlete Parris Campbell looked solid at wideout. Wide receiver Lonnie Johnson was held out of the event with an injury.

We'll have more, including interviews, reactions and evaluations soon.
