My question is, what is all that random junk behind him?

Lol, looks like my grandma's attic

Those little white things are for tracking movement. I have seen these on athletes that get put into video games/movies etc. The only other thing I could think of is the show Sport Science.

And when we win the game, we'll buy a keg of boooooooooze!! And we'll drink to old Ohio 'till we wobble in our shoes.

WTF is with the high chair behind him?  Was that for DeShaun's kid to watch dad practice?

Pretty sure the case on the big grey ball is either a musical instrument such as a horn or a sniper rifle...
And who doesn't bring a baby's high chair to a gym ?

Further proof that college sports games definitely do NOT use players' likenesses.

It does look like the sensors they rig up to capture video motion for games, but that isn't the case here.

My friend is a Master's student in Biomechanics. I'm pretty sure this pic is from testing that both the basketball team and entire football team did for his lab. Coach Boals posted this pic the same day he told me about testing the basketball team.

Yeah yeah we know marker capturing is going on but lets have some fun with the picture. I do wonder what they were studying or looking at though.

Look closely, because the closer you think you are, the less you will actually see.

Even LaQuinton is acting like he has no idea what is going on

I'm more worried about the pink headband then anything else, except the sniper rifle.

That is motion capture technology.
Computers track and record the motion of each one of those dots. It can be used to analyze specific body movement, it can be used for video game development, or even animation.
