URBMYR on a set of Michigan plates

Reader Jim sent in this photo of a Ford Expedition in Gahanna with "URBNMYR" plates. It's obviously not the Urban Meyer as he drives a custom Bugatti that runs on pulp-free juice, but interesting, nonetheless.

That these are Michigan plates makes it even better.

Plus the round on the sides and hi in the middle trailer hitch cover!

Anyone can be a fan no matter where you live.  The irony here is pretty cool.

Is that Brady Hokes?

More likely Lloyd's Carr, sense he owned U.F. GO BUCKS!

I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

You guys are destroying any form of productivity I had this morning!

I thought Urbz drove a Mercedes?  At least that was what he was driving in the espn thing last summer/fall.

He's still in the Silver Merc.

Well, you know he wouldn't be driving anything made in Detroit.

Italics are for emphasis.

So what you're saying is URBNMYR is still available for Ohio?

I like football

I take it the owner lives nowhere near AACC.....his insurance premiums would be through roof.

First the UP VOTE plate, and now this.  What do you guys do, drive around all day looking for interesting vanity plates?

Italics are for emphasis.

That right there is a brave soul, to rock those plates and block O sticker in enemy territory.  Respect.

I just had to post a reply...because that's my husband's license plate! We live in suburban Detroit and both have OSU vanity plates. His is the UrbnMyr and mine says "BukiChk" ;)

And, the trailer hitch cover and the vanity plate holder - "Ohio State Alumni".

Looks like Urban Meyer and Ohio State are still living rent-free in the minds of the fans up north.

Nice logo in the bottom right corner

I'm not saying that the color of your car has to represent you college.  But I found it odd that this fan picked a scarlet ride....

Makes sense to me.  The Michigan grad is driving the Escalade ESV.  Is that the parking lot at Scioto?  ;-)

Makes sense to me too.  I had a co-worker who exhibited a "#1 TTUN Fan" plate on the front of his Red and Gray Explorer.  It was a nice looking vehicle from the sides and rear.  When I pointed out the #1 Fan drove a Buckeye colored truck, he went into denial .  The next week he had it re-painted turd brown.  More accurately colored, I suppose.

Here is one I spotted in Columbus a few years ago after a game...

Just goes to show that at least some of the folks up north know who's happening

Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.

I work in the Detroit area, and every time I see a car with a Buckeye sticker, logo or "URBNMYR" vanity plate, it brings me GREAT PLEASURE!

So Hoke followed through on his bet over the Game last year. Good on him.
Glad for Urban that he didn't lose- having a chocolate glazed donut delivered to Ann Arbor every hour on the hour for six weeks would have been a pain.

It's mandatory for all OSU fans residing in Michigan to get a Pro-OSU vanity plate so that when they go to Columbus their car isn't vandalized, simply for having Michigan tags.

Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

I had to comment since that's MY HUSBAND"S CAR!!! We were in Gahanna at the Giant Eagle car wash! How funny! I have a vanity plate too - it says "BukiChk". We love the stares we get :) Thou, his gets way more attention than mine does ;(

This is my car.
So happy it has brought joy to the Buckeye faithful.
I am a Metro Detroit Resident. My job takes me all over Southeast TSUN. The looks are priceless. The middle fingers are worthless. And the comments are tasteless.
Nothing better than a fellow Motor City Buckeye sending love our way, though.
Still debating what to do with the spare plate. TSUN is a one plate mandate state. The other one sits on my shelf under my Buckeye lamp next to my OSU Diploma.
The comment before this one is totally my wife.

Living in enemy territory makes me NUTS.
