While all are good, I gotta give a little extra love to Unky Buck for Vrabel as Kratos. Pretty Sweet.

Thanks, Buckeyeneer. I appreciate that.
The honorable mention are cool as hell. That tells how great this thing has gotten in 2 weeks.
Grant Edgell's photoshop is SOOO clean

I agree, I thought Grant's piece was the most "realistic" photoshop job of the lot - it didn't get near enough love from the voters.
He suffered from the issue of getting it in late. If you don't have something posted within the first couple hours of the Buckshot coming up, you'll miss out on the opportunity for votes. Just a downside to the system. I think if he got it in sooner, he would've had more votes.
Vrabel as Leonidas was, as it was with the Academy, my personal favorite, though Hodge's homage to Napoleon was a close, close second.
Thanks to the staff for the Honorable Mentions! This was a fun one, especially putting together the San Quentin piece. Gotta love Johnny Cash, right?
Yes, good work on the San Quentin one.
I am a little baffled as to how Hodge's image got a downvote. I wonder if it was just fat-fingeritis on a smart phone...
That is the only possible explanation, unless you chalk it up to someone's overdeveloped sense of Francophobia...
Well, don't we all have a little bit of Francophobia in us? Damn French with their berets and Eiffel Towers.
Amen, Brother. If it weren't for the wine, women, cheese and art, I'd really be questioning their contributions to society in general.
What if we submitted to 11W via email instead of posting....and then 11W posted them all at the same time? That way the playing ground would be level. Just an idea. It might be too legwork for a buckshot.

I actually thought about that too. I enjoy doing them so I'll continue doing so, but I know I will never be able to even start one until sometime after 8 or 9 on a Friday night. I know I'm not the only one with that sort of problem and those who submit them later tend to be at a disadvantage from those who submit them early on. But I have no idea what sort of work would be involved in trying to set up a voting system on images where you can vote for any that you like, not just one in particular.
Maybe if on the Wednesday or Thursday Skull Session they give the topic so that there is time for guys to get something together and then it can be submitted at will come Friday. Just an idea.
Kratos approves!!!
