Ohio State and Oregon have agreed to a home-and-home football series in 2020 and 2021. The Buckeyes will travel to Eugene in 2020 and the Ducks will return the favor in 2021.
“Oregon has developed into one of the premier football programs in the FBS,” Gene Smith, Ohio State Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics, said. “We are excited to add them to our future slate of games.”
The Buckeyes and the Ducks have met eight times previously, including in the 2010 Rose Bowl game, a 26-17 Ohio State win. Ohio State holds an 8-0 advantage in the series. The first meeting between the teams came in the 1958 Rose Bowl, a 10-7 Ohio State win.
In other schedule-related news, the Buckeyes have filled out their 2016 non-conference schedule with the addition of Tulsa and Central Michigan.
