Who cares if the time block featured competition from Ancient Aliens, a Tosh.O rerun and the 9th episode of a Here Comes Honey Boo Boo marathon? Our own Ross Fulton made his cable TV debut at midnight Monday on ESPNU's late night sports and pop culture news show UNITE in a "Blogger Throwdown" with Drew Balis of Onward State.
And he killed it.
In what was likely the most polite debate in the history of cable television, Ross was so effective that he essentially had Drew picking against his own team by the end of the segment.
Bravo, Ross.

Good job, Ross! Way to look like you're not broadcasting live from your mother's basement!
Drew Balis brought a knife to a gun fight - way to represent, Ross.
Yep - saw this. Dude from PSU was the first guy to ever pick against his own team. Hope he's right.

Ross pwned that guy.
It's easy to grin, when your ship comes in, and you've got the stock market beat. But the man worthwhile, is the man who can smile, when his shorts are too tight in the seat.
man, Drew not throwing around much personality ....

He didn't even look at the camera. Awkward...

I clicked on it... I regretted it immediately...
Respect the Basement! :-)

Nice job Ross!
@ YRRO
I thought the same thing when I saw that guy -- I was like man, this kid is at home in his mom's basement with a webcam. Love it!
Really hope Ross's prediction is right.
kinda looks like his name is Drew Balls.
Just sayin.
Excellent job, Ross - way to represent.
I was surprised to see Ross picking the Buckeyes by a couple touchdowns. I've been saying Buckeyes 31-13, but --you know-- I'm an idiot. I'd like to hear Ross explain his pick.
Nice going Ross. Looks like you actually live above ground. I hope your prediction is right. i don't know if I could handle losing to PSU two years in a row.
Saw Ross last night-for some reason I had envisioned Ross as a crusty old retired ball coach who kept out of his wife's hair by focusing on college football, Buckeyes in particular. Guess I was wrong, was only off by a few plus decades age-wise! You looked good last night Ross. I wanted to tell the PSU guy to straighten up and stop slumping into the camera, heh. Of course, loved the predictions, will take either one, but prefer yours, Bucks by a couple of touchdowns!
Way to go, Ross!
How firm thy friendship... OH-I-O!
That was cool.... Ross has more knowledge of the game than his counterpart PSU Blogger could ever dream of having.... LOL...
Drew was avoiding eye contact because he was terrified of Ross' football genius.
