If you don't get it, allow Spiels to explain it:
I love this guy...no homo (not that there's anything wrong with that)
God Bless Papa Spielman
That story will never get old
I would tell my son the same thing
Middletown Middies State Champs.
Goose bumps -
Am I the only one who really wants to see him put Griese in a headlock some Saturday?
Also, still love listening to his comments from a couple years ago about how bad Michigan was and how they were screwing up the rivalry. Far and away my favorite Buckeye.
Scotch: It may be too early to drink it, yes; but people it is never to early to think about it.
I wonder if he will be commentating on the game this Saturday?
I have a very similar story. Didn't care much for sports or football growing up. When I was graduating from high school I was looking at majoring in engineering, and Michigan had a top-5 program at the time. I told my Dad that I was thinking about Michigan, since it's not that far away and all, not putting 2 and 2 together that it was THE Michigan my dad was cursing during what I now realize was the 1998 Rose Bowl.
"You're not wearing those colors in this house!" he said pointing his finger at me sternly.
"Oh, THAT Michigan." And that was it, I never gave Michigan another thought. My dad didn't even go to Ohio State! So, OSU it was....GO BUCKS!
It is impossible not to like and respect Chris Spielman.
Speilman is one of the coolest former tOSU players I have ever had the privledge to talk to. Unlike the other ESPN employee that we are not allowed to dislike or talk bad about. Speilman bleeds scarlet and gray. The other one doesn't. I don't care what anyone else says...
"At critical moments throughout the season, we learned about the character of this football team. This was a team of true character, of true resilience." -- President Barack Obama
