i’ve watched this like five times now and my honest non biased as possible assessment is that it looks like a home game for OSU. this is the difference between OSU and michigan fans, and exactly why they’re terrible. what a bunch of fair weather milquetoast pansy ass crybabies.
i don’t care how bad their team is, if they’re willing to let this rivalry die because two bad seasons, i’m going to hate them even more.
Well, I am glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed….every time they showed the blimp view I said, “Look at all the red!” Nice! Way to represent Buckeye fans!
Disgraceful, not on the Buckeye fans…any real fan of the blue HAS to be horrified at this.
The only thing worse than hatred (and come on, we really “hate” them like we hate a bossy, older sister) is pity.
I was at the game in Ann Arbor in 2007 (the year Beanie ran the ball a gazillion times) BEFORE the Michigan program fell flat on its face.. we had O-H-I-O going around the stadium just like this for a few minutes during the 4th qtr.
Point being – I wouldn’t say this is because their team is in shambles, because it wasn’t then.. you just have to tip your cap to Buckeye fans for traveling well and snatching up so many tickets in their place. Our fans are owning this series as much as our team!
Wow…I’ve been to a few other big ten stadiums and we’ve done that (taken over and made it a home away from home) but I would never imagine in a million years we’d be able to do that in the big house!
Seriously, think about it….even in our lowest hour I don’t think we as buckeye fans would let this happen in the shoe…I knew it was bad up there but maybe it’s a little worse than I thought!
This video looks like it’s from the second time we did it.
The first time there was quite a bit of booing once they realized what was going on, but we outlasted them.
The second time they didn’t even try to stop it.
It was AMAZING.
Our waiter at the bar I went to yesterday for the LA Alumni Association party was an 04 scUM grad. It’s nice to know that there is such a thing as justice in this crazy, messed up world we live in.
You should give it up to Block O for starting that cheer several times. I’m a member and our student organization traveled up there and cheered on the Buckeyes in front of major adversity. What an experience! Have a few videos of this myself!
The comments about this on michigan blogs are absolutely HILARIOUS. They have begun to analyze how a camera perceives different colors and are wondering if anyone knows anything about the technicalities of red vs yellow from a film point of view- in attempts to rationalize why it “looked” like there was an overwhelming amount of red in the stadium. Additionally, they have decided that red is MUCH more bright than their colors and thats another reason that it “looked” like we took over their stadium. In their estimates… 4-5% of the big house was ohio state fans….seriously? come on, let be honest guys. This is an AMAZING video!
Couldn’t believe it myself….ill have video from another angle tomorrow.
Cool. Sounds like you had a blast up there. Way to represent.
That is freaking awesome. Says a lot about how far that program has fallen.
this is mind blowing, i don’t even know what to say about this. burn down the big house, start over. holy shit.

It’s like a dream.
That was awesome!!!!!
It was amazing! I couldn’t believe when I got home that the broadcast hadn’t shown or mentioned it.

State fan here. MSU had the Go Green, Go White going across their stadium in ‘08 as well.

GO BUCKS!!!
I’m not 100% sure, but I think Iowa tried to get a I-O-W-A cheer going. It didn’t work and I heard lots of booing.

I kept saying: “it looks like a lot of red in the frigging stadium today” — frigging awesome!

the loudest the big house was all day was the boos trying to drown out the buckeye fans!
I was there in 2007 when we also did it, nothing better then O-H-I-O in the big house.
