Never a good thing for someone to transfer, but if there's one position where we can deal with some attrition, it's WR. If he does end up on the outs, hope it ends well for him.

Sanzo is from my nephew's HS. I watched him play some growing up .. I'd hate to see him go anywhere ... we were all very excited with the OSU offer. He's been serviceable and only bound to get better.
I hope he stays and contributes ... plenty.
Every team needs one or two burners and a possession guy, it would be a huge loss in my eyes if Sanz left.
He runs great routs and is tough as nails, besides, knowing Tress he may be no.2 next year.

There is a high school, west of Dayton, called Trotwood Madison. Alma mater to former Bucks William Houston and John Lumpkin. They had a dual threat QB from the '08 class named Domonick Britt. He was recruited loosely by OSU and heavier as a back up plan for Pryor by scUM. He chose to sign with Jackson St. in search of earlier PT. Maybe a month after his arrival there, he left the team for undisclosed reasons. I just wondered why OSU didn't make any effort to pick him up in light of their recent QB search. I watched him play many times and comparing him to what I saw from Guiton, there is no comparison. I think he would have really pushed JB for the back-up job and was a perfect fit for the offense. Not as big as TP(6'5,195) but probably a better passer with an effortless running style. Just wondered if anyone knows anything about this situation. I do realize there are many factors involved in bringing new players to the program.
I won't believe we're past the dive-off-tackle-draw mindset until I see it. For four years, we watched Maurice Wells get rammed into the back of the line, only occasionally getting the ball in space where he was known to do damage in high school.
True, he couldn't break tackles, but I would not be surprised if he was mentally down after two years being treated like just another power back.
Hopefully we'll use Berry better.

Sanzo went to a competitor HS to my own (419 what what) and I watched Buckeye games this fall with his best friend from home. In his heart of hearts, Sanzo always wanted to go to Notre Dame, but failed to get an offer. At least as of the end of the regular season, he was extremely happy at Ohio State and looking to improve. Could have changed in interim, but I doubt it. He'll stay.
