Bye weeks are great for trying to reset mentally and prepare yourself for the rest of the season, if you're a player or coach who might actually need to consider such things in terms of "how many times can I get hit in the face before the Penn State game?"

For fans, on the other hand, all a Bye does is amplify our already heightened state of being by giving us seven more days to dwell on the things we like and the things we absolutely hate about Our Favorite Team. Knowing this, George and I brought on Kyle Jones to help address some of the things that you might've been ruminating on for the past week or so.

Things like:

  • So what's the deal with the offensive line? Are they bad or good or it is even possible to put their athletic efforts into a pithy binary?
  • What does Ryan Day's playcalling look like in short yardage situations?
  • What are some key takeaways from the Notre Dame game?
  • Is it okay to hop on the Cade Stover bandwagon now?
  • Can we really just be ourselves in the face of overwhelming expectations?

Also, George and I got into these fun questions, courtesy of Ask Us Anything (which you can do by sending us questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com):

  • Who is the actual best team in America right now?
  • Has Chop been fully supplanted by Chip?

Plus, other random weirdness from the best sport on the planet, as we anxiously await the start of the Maryland game. Thanks for listening, thanks to our sponsor OneMedical, thanks for checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
