Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!

Christmas came early for the Buckeyes, as USC fell hard in the Pac-12 Championship Game. The Trojans' loss opened the door for a one-loss Ohio State, still in the top five, to move up a spot and, as we heard numerous pundits describe it this week, "back in" to the College Football Playoff.

Just when despairing fans assumed they were on the way to a Rose Bowl rematch vs. Utah, they now find themselves pondering the tall task of squaring up against the defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs, who will be playing in a glorified home game in Atlanta. A win in that game would likely set up the most-watched national championship game of all time, with Ohio State and That Team Up North facing off for all the marbles.

But first things first, did the CFP committee get it right, and if so, how nervous are we about facing Georgia?

We also discuss Kevin Wilson's impending departure from the staff and Jaxon Smith-Njigba's decision to forego the playoff and focus on the 2023 NFL draft. Finally, we'll touch on the early Buckeye entrants to the transfer portal, which opened for business this week.

Stick around for the betJACK Parlay, in which we pick a four-wager parlay from among this weekend's contests. We'll also check on how our picks did last week so you can decide if you want to ride with our picks this week or fade us like we're Clay Travis.

Plus, we'll reach into the mailbag for a full slate of questions in Ask Us Anything, which you can do by sending questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com!

Welcome to the postseason, Friends. Thanks as always for listening; remember to check out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
