I just need to see one more piece of the puzzle. Just one more, and I'll be convinced. And maybe that's stupid; Ohio State has blown everyone in their path to smithereens for over half the season so far, and I probably shouldn't require them to reign in Wisconsin's Johnathan Taylor and win big at home for me to validate their "eliteness."

On the other hand, we're starting to think about national championships. The level of play that's required for that is beyond "woah pretty good first season, Ryan Day" and looks more like "oh yeah, that's why Ohio State hired Urban Meyer." To get to that point, you have to stuff an elite offensive player like Taylor.

Andy and I get into that, bemoan a dumb Friday game that woulda been more fun on Saturday, look at the national scene a bit, and answer your Ask Us Anything questions (which you can send via e-mail and/or Twitter)! Oh, and don't forget to rate and subscribe to us on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or wherever else our RSS feed finds you.

0:00 Meh! Beating the tar out of an overmatched Northwestern team is fun, but it was Friday and people had forgotten about it in 12 hours.

20:50 Some national scene talk, particularly when it comes to strength of schedule.

39:25 Ask Us Anything shouts out small children while answering questions about personnel.

And that'll do it! Thanks as always to Travis for our logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week OR this Saturday at the Dubgate!
