Still not over that Cavs loss. Bear with me, folks.

Word of the Day: Tchefuncte.

BAD NEWS FOR B1G DEFENSES. Ohio State's defensive line could be the best DL in the country... and that's before it adds five-star freshman defensive end Chase Young.

It takes a special breed of five-star to start as a freshman on either line, but unit sensei Larry Johnson Sr. says the Maryland native will get his chance to earn rotational minutes.

From theozone.net:

Clearly, production has never been a problem for him. The jump from high school to college, however, is rarely an easy one. It takes a special kind of player to be able to blend in as a freshman. Nick Bosa was able to do it last season, but that is not necessarily the norm.

This season the Buckeyes return every pass rusher on the roster from a year ago, and they were all pretty darn productive in 2016. There isn't necessarily a need for more cooks in the kitchen, unless they have their own unique recipes. The good news for Young is that he will receive an opportunity to show what he can do. What he does with it is entirely up to him.

"He will have an opportunity to compete," OSU defensive line coach Larry Johnson said. "I think that is the bottom line. The thing that we have got to be careful about, that even if we have four guys returning, those four guys have got to work to keep their jobs, keep their status. It is going to be an open process, always have the ability to play the best players on the field. If he walks in and is ready to go and has got a chance to help us, then there is a good chance that we are going to find a way to use him."

If Young is good enough to walk into playing time as a freshman on a line that stacked... that's terrible news for opposing offensive lines.

Let's all take a minute to reflect on our blessing of not having to block Tyquan Lewis, Sam Hubbard, Jalyn Holmes, Nick Bosa, et al. this fall.

100 REPS, 100 DAYS. Kerry Coombs came to Columbus and immediately erected a cornerback pipeline to the NFL. It might look easy to an outsider, but it's yeoman's work.

Here is Coombs preaching his belief in 10,000 reps:

It saddens me to know one day Kerry Coombs won't coach at Ohio State. Let's hope that day doesn't come for another 300 years.

BRAXTON RETURNS. Braxton Miller, the electrifying Buckeye fans loved to know, will return to Springfield this month to pay it forward with to youth with a net worth of at least $99.

Per a press release:

New York, NY-- Braxton Miller, will return to his old stomping grounds ,Wayne High School in Huber Heights, July 8th when he leads his CHARG1NG 1WAY Youth Football Camp for over 200 participants. Campers will receive instruction from the Buckeye legend on the same field on which he passed for over 2000 yards and 34 total TDs as a senior for Coach Jay Minton.

Miller was born in Springfield, and moved to Huber Heights before his freshman year of high school. “It always meant a lot when guys would come back to Ohio,” Miller said, “That made the camp a no brainer for me. 937 is my home.”

The 7 Big Ten Conference award winner sees it not only as an opportunity to give back to his community, but also the American Heart Association, who will receive all the proceeds from the camp’s online auction. In addition, Miller will be joined by a slew of special guests that includes other decorated players from Ohio State and the NFL ranks.

The camp runs at a cost of $99 per camper. The camp will be split into a youth division for six to 13 year-old players and a high school division for 13 to 17 year-old players. The presenting sponsor for the event is Sheehan Brothers Vending which was born over 50 years ago in Springfield, Ohio. There will also be a silent auction where the benefits will proceed the American Heart Association.

Crazy to think the next Braxton Miller could attend that camp. Him being, like, six years old is even wilder.

BOLD PLAY. Condolences to those that lived through going to a public theater to attain pornography. And shoutout to the preacher that looked into a porno lair and saw a ministry.

From @UDHCMH:

lol at porn theatres

As far as porn theaters go, it seems like Hudson was opulent. Though, this view comes sans blacklight:

And it looks like the jerk-off cavern is headed for a new phase. It could also turn into a mural.

Just another day in the burgeoning Columbus real estate economy.
