Kevin McGuff has his first commitment of what should be a huge 2018 recruiting class as three-star post player Aaliyah Patty commits to Ohio State.
Standing at 6-3, Patty is the nation's No. 18 post player, according to ESPN's rankings. ESPN's evaluation of Patty is as follows:
Superior length, mobility and emerging interior game; shot blocker with finesse-5 game in the paint; finishes with either hand in the block; developing as one the stock-risers in the class of 2018.
With eight current Buckeyes entering their fourth year of eligibility, Ohio State will have a lot of spots to fill before the start of next season. Buckeye fans should be expecting more good new in the coming weeks.
