No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Indiana will meet in Indianapolis in what will be the most-hyped Big Ten Championship game ever next Saturday and the Buckeyes will enter as nearly a touchdown favorite.
Both FanDuel and Draft Kings have Ohio State as 5.5-point favorites for the game in which the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff and a spot in the Rose Bowl is on the line.
The trip will be Ohio State's first to Indy since the Buckeyes knocked off Northwestern in the 2020 Big Ten Championship Game. Ohio State is 5–1 all time in the Big Ten Championship Game while this will be Indiana's first appearance in the game. With the appearance, OSU will break a tie with Wisconsin (2–4) for most appearances in the league's championship game, which dates to 2011.
The Buckeyes own an 80–12–5 record in the series, having won 14-straight games. The two teams met most recently last November in Columbus, where No. 2 Ohio State had no problems with No. 5 Indiana, winning 38-15. Indiana's last win in the series came in 1988.
The Buckeyes and Hoosiers will kick off in Lucas Oil Stadium at 8 p.m. next Saturday, Dec. 6, on FOX.
