YouTube TV subscribers will be able to watch Ohio State vs. Texas on Saturday.
YouTube TV announced Wednesday that it had reached a short-term contract extension with FOX, allowing subscribers to continue watching FOX and its affiliated networks, including FS1, FS2 and Big Ten Network. On Thursday, YouTube TV announced that it had reached a new long-term deal with FOX, ending the threat of a blackout.
Were happy to share that weve reached a deal with Fox to keep their content on YouTube TV. This means that Fox channels, including the Fox Broadcast Network, Fox News, and Fox Sports, remain available, and football fans will not miss any of the action this weekend. https://t.co/LWx3lny6Pl

YouTube TV had threatened to remove FOX and its affiliated networks from its service if it did not reach a new agreement by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
FOX has already been in the crosshairs of many Ohio State fans this offseason due to its insistence on airing the Buckeyes’ best games – including Saturday’s game against Texas and likely including Ohio State’s other marquee home game against Penn State – at noon. By striking a short-term contract extension with YouTube TV, FOX avoided giving Buckeye fans – and college football fans throughout the country – another reason to be upset with the network.
