No defensive player in the NFC was better than Nick Bosa was in November.

The former Ohio State defensive end received the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month award after he recorded a sack in all three of the 49ers’ November games, in which they went 3-0 and held their opponents to 26 combined points.

It’s the second time Bosa has won the NFC Defensive Player of the Month award, as he previously won it during his rookie season in October 2019.

The award continues what has been a dominant season for Bosa, in which he has recorded 11.5 sacks (third-most in the NFL) and 30 quarterback hits (six more than any other NFL player). He’s led the way for the 49ers’ defense to top the NFL in both points allowed per game (15.7) and yards allowed per game (281.7).
