It looks like the Big Ten Championship game will be staying in Indianapolis for at least the next few seasons, after all.

Despite Kevin Warren comments last summer that the Big Ten would be rotating football championship game sites after the conference's contract with Lucas Oil Stadium expired this year, the Big Ten Championship game will remain in Indianapolis for at least the next three seasons.

As part of the announcement of several future postseason dates and locations on Wednesday, revealing that the Big Ten Football Championship game will be played in Lucas Oil Stadium in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

In July, Warren told New Jersey Advanced Media that the conference planned to begin rotating the Big Ten Championship game sites as early as next season as the Big Ten's contract with Lucas Oil Stadium expiring this year.

“We’re going to sit down and figure out the best way to rotate it, probably take out a [request for proposal] for basketball and football,” Warren told NJ.com. “I’m open to any location our fans will travel to and enjoy in our footprint, anywhere from Nebraska to New Jersey.”

It appears that will not be the case, at least for the next three seasons. The sites of the conference basketball tournaments, however, will be rotating and adding a new location.

The conference also announced that the 2023 men's basketball tournament will be played from March 8-12 in the United Center in Chicago while the 2024 tournament will be played on March 13-17 in the Target Center in Minneapolis – a new site for the conference tournament.

The Big Ten women's basketball tournament will also be moving. The tournament had been played in Indianapolis since 2016, but will be moving to Target Center in Minneapolis for the next two seasons which is a new site for the women's tournament, as well. The next two women's tournament's will be played the weekend ahead of the men's tournaments – March 1-5 in 2023 and March 6-10 in 2024.
