Ohio State had a new-look starting offensive line against Nebraska.
Thayer Munford started the game back at his old position of left tackle and Nicholas Petit-Frere started at his old position of right tackle while Matt Jones made his second start of the year at left guard and Dawand Jones did not start for the Buckeyes against the Cornhuskers.
Dawand Jones ultimately entered the game at right tackle on Ohio State’s third possession of the day with Petit-Frere moving back to left tackle and Munford moving back to left guard. Ryan Day said after the game that Dawand Jones felt sick to his stomach before the game, which is why he did not start, but Jones was able to play for the rest of the game from the third series onward.
