The Buckeyes were faced with a trap game against the best three-win team in the country and successfully avoided a loss.
Still, it was going to be interesting to see how the AP and Coaches Polls would respond to Ohio State's narrow win ahead of Tuesday's second set of CFP rankings.
When the new rankings were released on Sunday, nothing changed as Ohio State held steady at No. 5 in coaches poll and No. 6 in the AP Poll. Michigan State fell in West Lafayette yesterday and fell behind Ohio State in AP Poll, but Oregon lept the Buckeyes in those rankings.
Michigan State and Michigan are all ranked in both of the polls, meaning the Buckeyes will finish their schedule with games against ranked opponents in three of the final five weeks. Purdue remains unranked in both polls despite this weekend's win against Michigan State.
