Another former Ohio State defensive end just got paid.

Sam Hubbard has agreed to a four-year, $40 million contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The new deal for Hubbard comes as he enters his fourth season in the NFL. In his first three seasons with the Bengals, the Cincinnati native has recorded 177 total tackles with 22 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, eight pass deflection and one touchdown.

A third-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft, Hubbard becomes the third defensive end from Ohio State to land a big contract in the past 12 months. Joey Bosa signed a five-year, $135 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Chargers last July, while Cameron Heyward signed a five-year, $75 million contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers last September.
