Ohio State is still fifth in the first USA TODAY Sports coaches' poll released after a full weekend of games.

The Buckeyes did not receive any first-place votes in the preseason, and that predictably remained the case following their win over Florida Atlantic.

Seven Big Ten teams made this week's coaches poll, despite Northwestern falling from the ranks after a loss to Stanford. Michigan sits behind Ohio State at No. 7, with Penn State (14), Wisconsin (16), Iowa (19), and Michigan State (20) still behind them and Nebraska joining the rankings for the first time this season at No. 25.
