Social Reactions: Special Teams Are the Name of the Game in a Sloppy Win Against Sparty

Ohio State's 26-6 win against Michigan State was a litmus test as to whether you're going to enjoy the rest of the season. If you did, awesome. Competent special teams and some sweet individual performances in a sea of "meh!" will be your reward. If not, well... look: Ohio State is now a pretty great 9-1 and mostly in control of their destiny.

So while the Buckeyes still saw some of their old problems resurface against Sparty, special teams put on a show, the defense was opportunistic, and Jim Tressel smiled and nodded approvingly at eight great punts and one super garbage one while sipping a delicious warm mug of Ensure, right out of the microwave.

Truly, these were SOCIAL REACTIONS!

The End! Next week is Maryland, which is kind of an honorary Illibuck if you think about it. See you then.
