Billy Price Named Sports Illustrated All-American

Sports Illustrated announced its annual All-American Teams on Thursday morning. Ohio State fifth-year senior Billy Price, a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, was the only Ohio State Buckeye among those honored.

Auburn led the way with five nominations across both teams.

Of price, SI noted:

Price didn't missing a beat moving from guard to center ahead of his senior campaign, providing stability amid Ohio State's quarterback uncertainty and setting up freshman J.K. Dobbins for a breakout.

The All-American First Team also includes two former Buckeye commitments in Florida punter Johnny Townsend, who left Ohio State at the altar on National Signing Day in 2013, and Auburn cornerback Carlton Davis, who decommitted from the Buckeyes in January 2015.
