Ohio State's J.T. Barrett has become the first player in the history of the Big Ten Conference to throw 100 touchdown passes.

The senior quarterback achieved the milestone during the first quarter of Saturday's game against Illinois, his final home game as a Buckeye in Ohio Stadium, when he completed an 11-yard touchdown pass to Binjimen Victor.

Barrett previously broke the Big Ten touchdown pass record, which had been held by former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees, against Penn State. He is the 24th quarterback in Football Bowl Subdivision history to throw 100 touchdown passes, and ranks third among active quarterbacks in all-time touchdown passes, behind Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield and Washington State's Luke Falk.
