Depth Chart: Dante Booker, Malik Harrison, Chris Worley and Tuf Borland Listed As Co-Starters at Linebacker For Ohio State Vs. Illinois

While Jerome Baker is expected to return to Ohio State's starting lineup at weakside linebacker against Illinois after missing this past weekend's game against Michigan State due to injury, it remains uncertain who will start at the other two linebacker positions this week.

Malik Harrison, who started in place of Dante Booker (who was also out due to injury) against Michigan State and played every snap of the game, is now listed as a co-starter with Booker at the strongside linebacker.

Tuf Borland, meanwhile, is listed as a co-starter at middle linebacker – though he already was listed as a co-starter on the depth chart – with Chris Worley after Borland filled in for Worley at middle linebacker against Michigan State, while Worley filled in for Baker at weakside linebacker.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Tuesday that the next two days of practice will determine who ultimately starts at each linebacker position, with Worley playing outside at the strongside linebacker position – the position he played for the Buckeyes last year – also remaining a possibility if Borland gets the nod in the middle.

Notes:

• Damon Arnette is listed in his usual spot as a co-starter with Kendall Sheffield at cornerback despite leaving last week's game with a thigh bruise. Meyer said Monday that Arnette is probable to play this week.
• Although Sean Nuernberger is still listed as a co-starter on kickoffs, Blake Haubeil appears to have regained firm control of the kickoff specialist job. Meyer said Tuesday that Haubeil "has been really, really good" in recent weeks.
• Parris Campbell and Mike Weber remain listed as co-starters on kickoff returns. Weber handled kickoff return duties for a second consecutive week against Michigan State in Campbell's first game back from a head injury.
• True freshmen Josh Myers, Wyatt Davis and Tate Martell remain on the depth chart even though they have yet to play in a game this season and are expected to redshirt.
• Demario McCall remains on the depth chart as Ohio State's second-string punt returner and fourth-string running back although he has not played in the Buckeyes' last four games and could be in line for a medical redshirt.
