Ohio State erased an 18-point deficit Saturday afternoon against Penn State.

Sunday, the latest Associated Press Top 25 ranked the Buckeyes as the No. 3 team in the country. Earlier in the afternoon, the Coaches Poll slotted them in the same spot.

Alabama remained No. 1, though unlike the Coaches Poll, it wasn't unanimous. Georgia and Wisconsin round out the Top Four.

Penn State fell five spots to No. 7 following the first loss of its season. Michigan State, the only other Big Ten team in the poll, fell to No. 24 following a loss to Northwestern.

The SEC led the way with five polls.
