Already staked to a 21-0 lead, J.T. Barrett capped an eight play, 71-yard second quarter drive with a 31-yard touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin.
It was Barrett's third touchdown of the night and second one through the air.
Sean Nuernberger continued his Big Ten record PAT streak to make it 28-0, good guys.
