Week 7 of the AP Poll is here and Urban Meyer's squad finds itself in the No. 9 slot after throttling Maryland 62-14 yesterday in Ohio Stadium.

Washington State leapfrogged the Buckeyes, moving from No. 11 to No. 8 following a 33-10 decision over Oregon.

Just as it did in the Coaches Poll, previously No. 3 Oklahoma fell to No. 12 and Michigan dropped from No. 7 to No. 17 after falling at home to previously unranked Michigan State.

Penn State remains the B1G's highest-ranked team at No. 3 while Wisconsin gained two spots to No. 7.

Sparty parlayed its big win over Michigan into a No. 21 slot.
