Urban Meyer routinely raves about the blocking ability of fifth-year receiver Terry McLaurin. He showcased that ability Saturday night midway through the third quarter against Rutgers linebacker Deonte Roberts, who is listed at 6-1, 235 pounds.

The hit, which came late on a J.T. Barrett 1st and 10 scramble, initially drew a targeting call. A review, however, annulled that decision. It still drew a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness and a 15-yard penalty incurred while jawing at the fallen Roberts after the play.

Undeterred, Barrett threw a 23-yard jumpball touchdown pass to Ben Victor four plays later. The ensuing PAT made it 42-0.
