Four-star 2017 dual-threat quarterback Tate Martell came to Columbus from Las Vegas as the National Offensive Player of the Year. But being one of the highest-targeted recruits in the country doesn't make somebody a hometown legend.

To gauge that, we turn to Ohio State wide receivers coach Zach Smith, who operates under a new alias of "Jim Greenley."

Greenley called a Las Vegas barbershop to see if they knew about the hot young quarterback that signed with the Buckeyes.

Though the first barber couldn't answer the question, neither could the avowed "sports fan" of the shop.

In his defense, Martell offered that Vegas isn't a big-time football city. That doesn't appear to have satisfied his teammates.
