SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Ohio State arrived in Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, the Buckeyes hit the practice field for their first workout in the Valley of the Sun.

Prior to that practice, head coach Urban Meyer addressed his team for roughly three minutes about "practicing with a purpose." Meyer recalled some of Ohio State's key moments from the season — including J.T. Barrett's touchdown pass to Noah Brown to beat Wisconsin and Raekwon McMillan and Malik Hooker combining for a pick-six against Michigan — and some from the Buckeyes' national championship run in 2014 — Steve Miller's pick-six and Evan Spencer's block against Alabama.

Check out Meyer's full pre-practice speech in the video posted above.
