Ohio State-Michigan Visitor List Features at Least a Dozen Five-Star Prospects

The Game is almost here.
 
Second-ranked Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan will face off in the most anticipated matchup in 10 years, and the list of recruits expected in Columbus certainly reflects the heightened anticipation of the rivalry.  

The list below is subject to change, as new prospects will undoubtedly confirm their intentions to visit as the game gets closer while other may have a change of plans at the last minute. But this is the most up-to-date list of those who will be in attendance.

CLASS OF 2017

  • Bellaire, Texas, Episcopal five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson
    The No. 3 prospect overall, Wilson has more than two dozen offers from programs such as Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Ohio State, Texas and Texas A&M. The in-state Longhorns are considered the favorite, but the Buckeyes have a chance to impress on his official visit.
     
  • Grand Prairie, Texas, five-star cornerback Jeffrey Okudah
    The No. 7 prospect overall, Okudah included Ohio State in his Top 6 schools alongside Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma and USC. It's been rumored he silently committed to the Buckeyes back in May.
     
  • Kennedale, Texas, five-star linebacker Baron Browning
    The No. 9 prospect overall, Browning included Ohio State in his Top 6 last week alongside Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, TCU and UCLA. He is set to announce his college decision on Nov. 29.
     
  • Miamisburg five-star offensive tackle commit Josh Myers
    The No. 10 prospect overall, Myers committed to Ohio State in January 2015.
     
  • Calabasas, California, five-star cornerback Darnay Holmes
    The No. 12 prospect overall, Holmes has 25 offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State and UCLA. The Bruins are considered the favorite, with the Wolverines a distant second.  
     
  • Jackson, Tennessee, University School five-star offensive tackle Trey Smith
    The No. 20 prospect overall, Smith has 26 offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Tennessee. A candidate to replace the departed Jake Moretti, Smith is considered a heavy lean for the in-state Volunteers.
     
  • Riceboro, Georgia, Liberty County five-star safety Richard LeCounte III
    The No. 27 prospect overall, LeCounte committed to Georgia in December 2015. Using the official visit to see former high school teammate Raekwon McMillan play in what may be his final game in Columbus.

  • Hyattsville, Maryland, DeMatha five-star defensive end commit Chase Young
    The No. 30 prospect overall, Young committed to Ohio State in July.
     
  • Bradenton, Florida, IMG Academy four-star safety commit Isaiah Pryor
    The No. 47 prospect overall, Pryor committed to Ohio State in July 2015.
     
  • South Jordan, Utah, Bingham four-star defensive tackle Jay Tufele
    The No. 57 prospect overall, Tufele listed Ohio State in his Top 7 alongside BYU, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington. He is expected to announce his college decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January 2017.
     
  • Roswell, Georgia, four-star safety Xavier McKinney
    The No. 77 prospect overall, McKinney is a one-time Alabama commit with 13 offers. Ohio State extending a scholarship offer in August and quickly made up ground in McKinney's recruitment, but he is ultimately expected to pick between Alabama and Clemson on signing day.
     
  • Powell Olentangy Liberty four-star athlete Brendon White
    The No. 112 prospect overall, White committed to Ohio State in October 2015.
     
  • Bradenton, Florida, IMG Academy four-star cornerback Marcus Williamson
    The No. 239 prospect overall, Williamson committed to Ohio State in April 2015.
     
  • Cleveland Heights four-star wide receiver Jaylen Harris
    The No. 174 prospect overall, Harris listed Ohio State in his Top 5 in August alongside Alabama, Michigan State, Penn State and Tennessee. He has long said the Buckeyes would make room for him in its scholarship-restricted class if wanted to play in Columbus.
     
  • Bridgeton, New Jersey, four-star athlete Markquese Bell
    The No. 180 prospect overall, Bell listed Ohio State in his Top 7 in August alongside Clemson, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, Rutgers and Temple. Bell would easily be included in the class in any other year, but must wait to see how things unfold over the next few months if he wants to play in Columbus.
     
  • Cincinnati Winton Woods four-star defensive tackle Jerron Cage
    The No. 229 prospect overall, Cage committed to Ohio State in July 2015.
     
  • Massillon Washington four-star offensive tackle Thayer Munford
    The No. 281 prospect overall, Munford holds 16 offers from programs such as Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan State, Pitt and Tennessee. Though the Buckeyes have yet to extend an offer, Munford is a candidate to replace the aforementioned Moretti.
     
  • Buffalo, New York, Canisius three-star kicker commit Blake Haubeil
    The No. 1208 prospect overall, Haubeil is the top-rated kicker in the class. He committed to Ohio State in July 2015.

CLASS OF 2018

  • Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, five-star defensive end Micah Parsons
    The No. 5 prospect overall, Parsons committed to Penn State in February. He will be making his second trip to Columbus this month, however, as he was also at the Nov. 5 game against Nebraska.
     
  • Atlanta, Georgia, Pace Academy five-star offensive guard Jamaree Salyer
    The No. 11 prospect overall, Salyer has more than 20 offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Tennessee.
     
  • Fairfield five-star offensive tackle Jackson Carman
    The No. 17 prospect overall, Carman has more than 30 offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and Wisconsin. He is considered Ohio State's top priority for the junior recruiting cycle.
     
  • Franklin, Georgia Heard County five-star quarterback Emory Jones
    The No. 19 prospect overall, Jones committed to Ohio State in July.
     
  • Clemmons, North Carolina, West Forsyth five-star defensive end K.J. Henry
    The No. 20 prospect overall, Henry holds 25 offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. He will be difficult to pull out of the south.
     
  • Westerville South five-star running back Jaelen Gill
    The No. 25 prospect overall, Gill has more than 20 offers from programs such as Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, Tennessee and USC. One of the Buckeyes' top priorities, Gill is making his second visit this month.
     
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bishop Sullivan five-star linebacker Teradja Mitchell
    The No. 28 prospect overall, Mitchell has more than 30 offers from programs such as Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He'll be making his first trip to Columbus.
     
  • Bradenton, Florida, IMG Academy four-star cornerback Houston Griffith
    The No. 42 prospect overall, Griffith holds 23 offers from programs such as Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee. He has never been on campus for a game, only for an unofficial visit in March.
     
  • Hyattsville, Maryland, DeMatha four-star defensive tackle Austin Fontaine
    The No. 45 prospect overall, Fontaine holds a dozen offers from programs such as Clemson, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina and Tennessee. This marks his first trip to Columbus since a one-day positional camp in June.
     
  • Calabasas, California, four-star cornerback Brendan Radley-Hiles
    The No. 48 prospect overall, Radley-Hiles holds two dozen offers from programs such as Arizona, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA and USC. Radley-Hiles is the cousin of wide receiver commit Tyjon Lindsey.
     
  • Lindenhurst, New York, Senior four-star tight end Jeremy Ruckert
    The No. 79 prospect overall, Ruckert listed Ohio State is his Top 14 in August alongside Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Penn State, Rutgers, Tennessee, UCLA and Wisconsin. This marks his first trip to Columbus since Friday Night Lights.
     
  • Seffner, Florida, Armwood four-star running back Brian Snead
    The No. 83 prospect overall, Snead committed to Ohio State in July.
     
  • Saint Louis, Missouri, Christian Brothers College four-star wide receiver Kamryn Babb
    The No. 84 prospect overall, Babb holds more than a dozen offers from programs such as Illinois, Iowa, LSU, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Wisconsin. He hasn't been on campus since a one-day camp in June.
     
  • Missouri City, Texas, Ridge Point four-star tight end Mustapha Muhammad
    The No. 94 prospect overall, Muhammad holds 30 offers from programs such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M. This will mark his first trip to Columbus.
     
  • Huber Heights Wayne four-star wide receiver L'Christian “Blue” Smith
    The No. 98 prospect overall, Smith holds 11 offers from programs such as Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Tennessee. This will be the second trip to campus this season for the two-sport star, who plans to play football in college despite offers from basketball programs such as Indiana, Kentucky, Syracuse and UCLA.
     
  • Stafford, Virginia, four-star offensive tackle Nana Asiedu
    The No. 99 prospect overall, Asiedu has more than 20 offers from programs such as Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He will make his first trip to campus sans offer.
     
  • Toledo St. John's Jesuit four-star linebacker Dallas Gant
    The No. 123 prospect overall, Gant has more than a dozen offers from programs such as Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Pitt. This marks the second trip to campus this month for Gant, who plans to make a decision prior to the start of his senior year.
     
  • Springfield four-star tight end Leonard Taylor
    The No. 142 prospect overall, Taylor is a one-time Michigan commit with 14 other offers from programs such as Michigan State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Tennessee. He last took an unofficial visit for the Oct. 1 game against Rutgers.
     
  • Chicago, Illinois, Mount Carmel four-star offensive guard Verdis Brown
    The No. 144 prospect overall, Brown has double digit offers from programs such as Florida State, LSU, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin. He has not been to campus since a one-day camp in June.
     
  • Cleveland Heights four-star defensive end Tyreke Smith
    The No. 159 prospect overall, Smith has 18 offers from programs such as Michigan State, Penn State, Pitt and USC despite having not played a snap of high school football prior to his senior year. Though Ohio State has yet to offer, he took an unofficial visit for the Oct. 8 game against Indiana.
     
  • Dayton Dunbar four-star wide receiver Joseph “JoJo” Scates
    The No. 201 prospect overall, Scates listed Ohio State in his Top 8 alongside Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame and USC. Only the Hoosiers and Spartans have offered Scates, who makes his first trip to campus this weekend.
     
  • Pickerington Central four-star tight end Trenton Gillison
    The No. 208 prospect overall, Gillison holds 14 offers from programs such as Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Wisconsin. A regular visitor, Gillison hopes to lock down an offer from the Buckeyes soon.
     
  • Cincinnati Winton Woods four-star linebacker Christopher Oats
    The No. 227 prospect overall, Oats holds double digit offers from programs such as Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Pittsburgh. He is a regular visitor with teammate Jerron Cage.
     
  • Waldorf, Maryland, North Point four-star offensive tackle Rasheed Walker
    The No. 238 prospect overall, Walker holds eight offers from programs such as Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio State, Pitt and Virginia Tech. He has not been on campus since he was offered in September.
     
  • Fairfield four-star defensive end Malik Vann
    The No. 291 prospect overall, Vann holds 17 offers from programs such as Cincinnati, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee. He is a regular visitor with teammate Jackson Carman.
     
  • Mount Holly, New Jersey, Rancocas Valley Regional four-star athlete Iverson Clement
    The No. 279 prospect overall, Clement is Ohio State's latest offer. This will mark his first trip to campus, despite being a long-time fan.
     
  • Portsmouth East three-star offensive guard Blaine Scott
    The No. 309 prospect overall, Scott has more than 25 offers from programs such as Florida, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan State, North Carolina, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt. He was last on campus sans offer on Oct. 8.
     
  • Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller three-star defensive tackle Aeneas Hawkins
    The No. 330 prospect overall, Hawkins holds more than two dozen offers from programs such as Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Tennessee. This marks this second trip to campus this season for Hawkins, who hopes to make a decision on his future this winter.
     
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bayside three-star wide receiver Armani Chatman
    The No. 371 prospect overall, Chatman holds three offers from North Carolina State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech. 
     
  • Huber Heights Wayne three-star defensive end Alex Reigelsperger
    The No. 404 prospect overall, Reigelsperger has seven offers from Kentucky, Iowa, Miami (Ohio), Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers and Western Michigan. He was on campus for the Oct. 1 game against Rutgers.
     
  • Stockbridge, Georgia, three-star defensive end Brenton Cox
    The No. 432 prospect overall, Cox was offered by Ohio State during his trip to campus with quarterback commit Emory Jones in October. He holds 13 other offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Missouri, North Carolina and Tennessee.
     
  • Romulus, Michigan, Senior linebacker Tyler Carter
    Carter is not ranked by any major recruiting sites and does not hold an offer from Ohio State. 
     
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kempsville athlete Dasamir Spriggins
    Spriggins is not ranked by any major recruiting sites and holds only one offer from Charlotte.
     
  • Kentwood, Michigan, linebacker Job Mayhue
    Mayhue is not ranked by any major recruiting sites and does not hold any offers at the moment.

CLASS OF 2019

  • Loganville, Georgia, Grayson four-star linebacker Owen Pappoe
    The No. 2 prospect overall, Pappoe holds more than 30 offers from programs such as Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida state, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Tennesse. This marks his first trip to campus since he was offered during a satellite camp in Georgia in June. 
     
  • Stafford, Virginia, four-star running back Devyn Ford
    The No. 12 prospect overall, Ford has 22 offers from programs such as Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He hasn't been to campus since being offered in August.
     
  • Massillon Washington four-star linebacker Jamir Thomas
    The No. 56 prospect overall, Thomas has six offers from Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Rutgers and West Virginia. 
     
  • Loganville, Georgia, Grayson Kenyatta Watson II
    Watson is not ranked by any major recruiting sites, but holds eight offers from programs such as Nebraska, Syracuse, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. He also impressed the staff during the aforementioned satellite camp in Georgia.
     
  • Springfield cornerback Moses Douglass 
    Douglass is not ranked by any major recruiting sites, but holds 10 offers from programs such as Iowa, Kentucky, Rutgers and a host of Mid-American Conferences schools. He is making his second trip to campus this season with teammate Leonard Taylor.

CLASS OF 2020

  • Cincinnati Winton Woods cornerback Mi'Quan Grace
    Like all other freshman, Grace is not yet ranked by any major recruiting sites. He currently holds offers from Cincinnati and Kentucky, but longs for an offer from Ohio State.
     
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bishop Sullivan cornerback Quinton Gregory
    Gregory is not yet ranked by any major recruiting sites and doesn't not have an offer from Ohio State. 
     
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bishop Sullivan wide receiver Valerian "V.J." Johnson Jr.
    Johnson is not yet ranked by any major recruiting sites, but holds an offer from Maryland.
