The Buckeyes coasted through the first of their three games on their trip to Spain, downing the Madrid Generals 93-61 in an exhibition game.

Kaleb Wesson led the way for Ohio State with 20 points, going 5-for-5 in the second half, and 12 of the 13 Buckeyes scored during the game. The only player who didn't – Danny Hummer – suffered a cut over his left eye in the first half that required five stitches.

Graduate transfer Keyshawn Woods made his first appearance with the Buckeyes, joining a mostly-veteran starting lineup made up of former walk-on Joey Lane starting alongside C.J. Jackson, Micah Potter and Andre Wesson.

The freshmen contributed, however, combining for 32 points. Luther Muhammad led the way for the freshmen with 12 points, Duane Washington Jr. had nine, Justin Ahrens also had nine and Jaedon LeDee had two points and three rebounds.

The Buckeyes will spend the next three days in Valencia and will play their next game against the Valencia All Stars on Aug. 7.
