Former Ohio State point guard Shannon Scott has agreed to terms on a partially guaranteed contract with the Toronto Raptors with an invite to training camp Thursday, according to Shams Charania of RealGM.

As a result, Scott will have a chance to make the Toronto's opening-night squad, but the more likely route will be a slot on the Raptors' Developmental League team. Scott's agency, Impact Sports Basketball, confirmed the signing via Twitter.

Scott recently played for the San Antonio Spurs in the Las Vegas Summer League, where he averaged 5.3 points and 2.4 assists per game. Last season, as a senior for the Buckeyes, Scott averaged 8.5 points, 5.9 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
