Ohio State sophomore forward Marc Loving will play Saturday against Michigan State, according to 10TV's Dom Tiberi. It is unknown at this time how much action Loving will see against the Spartans.

In a request for comment, an Ohio State spokesman said he would not have any additional information until Friday's interview session, which is slated for 1:15 p.m.

Loving has missed the Buckeyes' previous three games for an unknown reason. He did not travel to Ohio State's game at Purdue on Feb. 4 as it was announced he "temporarily lost his privilege to wear the scarlet and gray" and has not played since.

Buckeyes head coach Thad Matta said the suspension stemmed from an off-the-court issue, and was handed down by the Ohio State athletic department. Loving had been practicing with the team during his suspension.

Loving, the Buckeyes' second-leading scorer at 11.7 points per game, has the top 3-point percentage in the country this season at 53.2 percent. He also averages nearly four rebounds per contest. Ohio State has gone 2-1 in Loving's absence.

The 23rd-ranked Buckeyes play Michigan State at noon Saturday.
