40 Ohio State football players were named Academic All-Big Ten honorees this fall, highlighted by starting left guard Harry Miller, who was one of 60 fall sports athletes around the Big Ten recognized for carrying an unblemished grade-point average of 4.0

In total, 120 athletes from Ohio State fall sports – also including field hockey, men's and women's cross country and men's and women's volleyball – earned Academic All-Big Ten honors this fall, surpassing the previous record of 112 from last year. To earn Academic All-Big Ten honors, an athlete must carry a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled at the institution for at least 12 months.
Women's cross country runner Gia Napoleon, a sophomore journalism major, was also recognized for carrying a 4.0 GPA.
