True freshman offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr., who was not eligible for Scholar-Athlete honors this year after enrolling in January, received a 3.85 GPA and made the Dean's List for his first semester at Ohio State, according to his mother Monica.

The full list of Ohio State Scholar-Athletes for the 2019-20 academic year can be seen on OSU's website.

Six Ohio State sports teams – men's cross country, men's and women's golf, women's gymnastics, women's soccer and men's tennis – were recognized for their academic performance by the NCAA on Tuesday for ranking in the top 10 percent nationally in their respective sports in Academic Progress Rate.
