The Buckeyes will play for the national title.

The Ohio State men's tennis team is one win away from a national title as the Buckeyes downed UCLA 4-1 in Monday afternoon's semifinals to punch their ticket to Tuesday evening's title game.

Ohio State got on the board first, winning the doubles point to go up 1-0. After two weather delays, UCLA punched back, winning the match on court six in two sets, but that's all they could manage. The Buckeyes took courts one, four and five to clinch a 4-1 win.

In singles, it was Mikael Torpegaard who got the first win on court one to tie the match at 1-1. Kyle Seelig was next, putting the Buckeyes one win away with a victory on court four, and Martin Joyce sealed the victory with a win on court five.

Ohio State will now face top-seeded Wake Forest in the championship match on Tuesday at 5 p.m. after the Demon Deacons downed Texas A&M 4-3 in the semifinals.
