The lacrosse Bucks got yet another huge win on Saturday afternoon, downing No. 2 Maryland 11-10 in overtime thanks to a game-winner from Johnny Pearson.

The win came in large part to the offensive play of senior Eric Fannell. The attackman had five of the team's 11 goals and hit the post on his final shot, which set up the rebound game-winner from Pearson.

Maryland is just the latest top-ranked team to fall victim to the Buckeyes. Ohio State has now beaten four current top-15 teams after defeating No. 15 Towson, No. 8 Johns Hopkins and No. 3 Denver earlier in the season.

With the win, Ohio State improves to 12-2 on the season and 3-1 in the conference. The Buckeyes are now in the driver's seat for the Big Ten title race, owning the tiebreaker over Maryland, and will earn the regular-season championship with a win over No. 14 Rutgers next week.
