I remember at one time there was a box on the right side, underneath the recent posts box that specifically listed recent blog posts.  Are they that rare that the box was deemed not needed?  I ask, because I remember back in 2010-11, I had intended to write a blog post more often, until my laziness took hold.  But, if there was more attention to them, I might write more than once every other year.
