Bill Obrien enters this season with his contract expiring at the end and no talks of extending. Back to back AFC south champs but the city is not excited with 9-7 seasons. He's not well liked by the fans, media and supposedly has been at odds with Rick Smith the GM since arrival. Ossweiler was forced on Obrien last year by Smith after Obrien requested previous pick ups in Hoyer and Mallet also flaundered under the supposed QB guru. This off season was the second in a row Vrable was a candidate for jobs elsewhere, 2 years ago as a coordinator even though he hadn't been one and this last off season even rumored as a potential head coach candidate. The Texans responded to that by creating another position for the DC of the leagues top defense Romeo Crennel and promoted Vrable to DC. Rumors around here are no matter what Obrien is out after the season as he wants to go elsewhere and Vrable is a likely replacement. I know the players respect him. I think he'll be a hell of a coach
